Lauren Knauss, Executive Director, USA.

Lauren joined the Carbon Clear team after ten years of program management, energy efficiency, and environmental sustainability experience. Her expertise lies in climate change policy, carbon markets, and the design and implementation of demand side and market transformation energy efficiency programs. Growing up she was always pulled towards creating a balance between how we work in and live on the planet, values she attributes to her Native American culture. Lauren holds a Masters degree in Economic Development and Environment from the London School of Economics and Political Science.

Jayme Walenta, Managing Director - USA.

Jayme came to Carbon Clear after ten years of sustainable development and organizational corporate strategy experience. Jayme has particular experience working in and researching the fields of environmental commodities, sustainable urban development and organizational culture research. Jayme has a Ph.D. degree in Economic Geography from the University of British Columbia in Canada. She serves as an invited reviewer for several prestigious academic journals and an invited presenter in her areas of expertise. Jayme has also taught at various universities in the Czech Republic, Canada, and the US.

John Ash, Business Development Manager.

John is Carbon Clear’s most recent addition to the team. He brings 10 years of experience in sales, relationship building, and account management for Fortune 500 companies. Coupling his successes in the business of sustainable energy solutions with the home building industry, he brings to Carbon Clear a deep understanding of how greater energy efficiencies bring about reduced operating costs. John’s past experiences include partnering with firms in the manufacturing, technology, education, government, and professional services arenas. An active outdoor enthusiast, John understands the importance of tackling climate change and protecting our environment. John has a BS in Business Marketing from Indiana University.
